District : Khammam

State : Andhra Pradesh

Country : India

ABOUT MY VILLAGE:

My village was recorded in history when the villagers opposed the NiZAM's police called as RAZAKAR's. My grand mother tells me about the stories of Razakar's and their actions upon the villagers and how the villagers protest the Razakar police troops. There are very interesting and creats emotional feelings to us at that age. My village is very close and almost last village of Telangana state at that time. So to protect their families all the elders of the village emptied the village and cross the border and make tents on the other side of Andhra atleast they can see thier houses and lands from otherside. The stories when my grand mother is telling to us is very very heart touching and very interesting to listen by us in that small age. During night times in the sparkiling Moon light we all children play games until late nights. During the Month of May in our village the ANKAMMA & MAHALAKSHAMMA JATARA will bring all of the village people get together and celebrate it very happly. During summer time there is no school so all the children of our village playing games and going to movies in small cinema talkies is very interesting. It is my great gift to born in this pleasant village and again i like to born in this village.
